I have been telling stories since I was a child, trying to distract my younger brother from the scary storms outside. My publishing company, Boom Bam Boom Publishing, is named for the stories I used to tell him. Those stories taught me the power of story telling.
In elementary school, I won multiple awards from the local paper for creative writing. In Jr. High, I wrote for the school paper, then I wrote for my High School paper. My senior year, I wrote for a local start-up newspaper, The Capitol News, as a free lance sports reporter.
Now, I write stories. I want to inspire others for God, imagine great things, and ignite a passion for adventure. I also write Christian living books. My goal is the same: to encourage people in their walk with God. To deepen their relationship with Him.
My children’s stories do not have a spiritual element, but they do encourage kids to get creative.
I am married to the love of my life, Peter, and we have two young kids. Peter and I love going on road trips, however short or long. (We’re working on the kids.) Life is an adventure, and we love ours!
Things I love:
- God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit
- My family
- Cheap, American chocolate
- My church
- Hosting themed parties
- Quiet
- English gardens
- The sound of a bubbling brook

- Writing
- Dreaming of road trips, reading about road trips, planning road trips, and sometimes – rarely – going on road trips!
