Hello, friend!

I wanted to write to let you know that my book, “Enoch Walked with God: and you can too” is FREE on Kindle today and tomorrow (October 8-10). It started out to coincide with Prime Days, but I wanted to give you an extra day. People are enjoying it. Plus, you don’t have to have Prime to enjoy this deal!

Why did I set it for free?

Because I believe it’s something that Christians, especially Christians just starting their walk with God or who feel stuck in their walk with God, can benefit from. I want it to encourage you, and sometimes, money gets in the way. For a time, I wanted to remove that barrier.

Well, that’s all great, Caitlin. But what’s the book even about? I’m glad you asked! Here’s the blurb:

Christians say you have to ‘walk with God,’ but what does that even mean?

Enoch Walked with God: And You Can Too digs deep to answer this question by comparing a physical walk to a spiritual walk.  We live in a world where God is considered irrelevant or even dead.  Can we walk with God in a world like this?  Why would we want to?

This book investigates the life of Enoch – a man who is only mentioned a handful of times in the Bible, but we know he walked so close with God that he never died.  “Enoch walked with God, then he was no more, because God took him away,” (Genesis 5:24).

What was the world like when Enoch lived?  Can we draw comparisons to the world now? 

How did he walk with God?  Can we still walk with God today like he did then?   (Spoiler alert: We CAN!)

In Enoch Walked with God: And You Can Too, Caitlin compares the characteristics of a physical walk with a spiritual walk and, with a look at Enoch’s life, she paints a full picture of walking with God.  She provides practical actions that can be taken to walk with God today.

New Book! – The Day Rainbow Lost His Colors

My newest children’s book is now available from multiple retailers in paperback ($11.99) and hardcover ($19.99).

Meet Rainbow. He wakes up one morning to find that all the colors in the world are missing – including his own!

He goes looking for the colors and has to figure out how to bring them back. This book explores the basic six colors, the five senses, and perseverance. It’s a wonderful book for young children.

Do You REALLY Know the Muffin Man?

I am so excited to share with you that my newest You Draw book, “Do You REALLY Know the Muffin Man?” is available for order!  I had so much fun writing this book, and I think it shows in the writing.

Who taught the Muffin Man how to bake?  It might come as a surprise to you.

As with all of the You Draw books, there are no pictures in the book itself.  This allows the reader to be the illustrator (and there’s even room for the illustrator to add their name to the front cover!)

These books are fantastic gifts for those hard-to-shop-for family members.  Children can illustrate their books, then gift the book to Grandma and Grandpa to show off their artistic skills.  Or, if you’re an artist, you can create beautiful images to gift a niece or nephew (or other child in your life).

These books are also fantastic for homeschool families, because it merges reading comprehension and art.

I am so excited to announce that “The Gingerbread Man in Your Hometown” is now available for purchase from Amazon! (It will be available in select bookstores soon.)

Everyone thought the Gingerbread Man had been eaten by the fox.  He wasn’t.  He escaped.  And now he’s here, in your hometown.  He tries to be helpful at first, but ends up causing chaos.  He’s lonely, and he’s going to learn he needs help to get his ‘happily ever after.’

Travel with the Gingerbread Man as he goes through your hometown, and draw his adventures.  Help him find his happily every after!
